The forecasted force 4 actually came through at F5-6. No complaints there! WSM always does that in a Westerly when it's sunny.

Wind was dead onshore though, making the getting out "interesting", and jumps nigh-on impossible. Involuntary air-time was, however, compulsory.

A few scary moments when rescuing a kite board for a woman who'd lost it about 50m off the beach. Trying to swim my own kit in + this damn kite board meant nearly getting my own kit trashed in the waves. I was not amused. Didn't get much thanks for it, either.
